Composting & Recycling (Administrative Bulletin 88)
Development projects in San Francisco are required to provide adequate areas for collecting and loading 100% of recyclable and compostable materials. This requirement is reflected in several areas in the San Francisco Building Code (summarized in Department of Building Inspection Administrative Bulletin 88), and is also in accord with the California Solid Waste Reuse and Recycling Access Act of 1991.
