Join us for an electric vehicle and equipment expo, with ride-and-drives for the public!
SF Environment is working to make San Francisco the EV capital of America through a variety of projects. In support of the city’s goals, Charge Across Town will be hosting EV week activities to help generate public awareness and interest in electric vehicles.
During FleetWeek on Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9 from 11am-5pm, the latest EV technologies will be on display for the public at Pier 27 on the Embarcadero. There will be FREE 'ride and drives' in the latest electric vehicles, including plug-in, battery, and fuel cell EVs.
There will be an EV Showcase of informational booths and demonstration areas with:
- Static displays of the latest electric cars, motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes, and skateboards.
- Grid and solar charging solutions will be demonstrated, along with utility rate and rebate program information.
- Community partners such as SF Environment, Center for Sustainable Energy, CleanPowerSF, and others will be on hand to talk about clean transportation alternatives and renewable energy.
- And more surprises to come….
