Consultant for Toxics Reduction and Hazardous Waste Disposal

SF Environment (SFE) has posted an RFP for Technical Consulting for Toxics Reduction and Hazardous Waste Disposal.   

Description: SFE announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for as-needed professional services for technical consulting and assistance in the environmental program areas of toxics reduction and hazardous waste management and disposal.

SFE is seeking to engage one or more multifaceted team(s) that may consist of multiple firms, including subcontractors, to provide as-needed research, technical and policy analysis, and program design and implementation assistance.

Proposers can apply for one or both of the following program areas: (1) toxics reduction, and (2) hazardous waste management and disposal. For the purposes of this RFP, “hazardous waste” includes all types of waste which are excluded from San Francisco’s routine refuse collection service, including, but not limited to, medical waste and home-generated sharps and pharmaceuticals.
