In addition, there were attendees representing SFMTA, SFPUC, SF Environment, DPW/BDC, Glumac, Prime and Urban Fabrik.
Agenda Items:
1. Introductions.
2. Minutes: Approval of the April 9, 2014 meeting was deferred to next meeting.
3. Announcements:
• The Task Force welcomes Melissa Hung as new representative of DPW BDC.
• Clifton Wong SFMTA announced his retirement and introduced Mark Rudnicki, the pending appointee.
• North Beach Branch Library grand opening was 5/10/14, the last of 10 branch libraries achieving LEED certification.
• San Francisco LEED certified municipal properties totals 4,067,563 square feet.
•  Approx 1 million sf of municipal projects are complete with LEED certification pending: One South Van Ness Ave. (EBO&M), Sunset Recreation Center (BDC), and 3 projects at SFO Terminal 3 (BDC).
• LEED GA and AP w Specialty exams expire June 15.  New exams based on LEED v4 begin July 1.
• Greenbuild 2014 the annual international conference and expo of the US Green Building Council, October 22-24, New Orleans.
4. Presentation: Barry Hooper, SF Environment presented early results from the building performance labeling and energy audit requirements ordinance (SF Env Code Chapter 20).
5. Old Business:
• MP accepted volunteers and appointed the following to the policy committee to consider and advise on adoption of LEED v4 as the municipal green building protocol: Melissa Hung, Eric Bura, Houshang Esmaili, Janet Ng, Mohsin Shaikh, Wendy Proctor, Bill Worthen, Edgar Lopez.
• The Task Force entered into executive session to consider applications for Public Member of the Task Force.
• The Task Force exited executive session and announced that 2 applicants have been recommended to the mayor for selection and appointment as the Public Member.
