1. Introductions.
2. Minutes: Minutes of the August 14, 2013 meeting were approved as written.
3. Announcements:
• Congratulations to SFDPW and SFPL for achieving LEED Gold certification for Ortega Branch Library.  SFPL now has 6 LEED Gold and 2 LEED Silver branch libraries.
• San Francisco has upgraded its USGBC membership to the Gold level.  Benefits include a dedicated account manager to assist with registration, certification and professional credentialing, plus increased access to educational resources for city staff.   
• Cyndy Scully announced a study being performed by DPH on the relationship between climate change and health.
• USGBC-NCC is launching a campaign “Building Health into Everything We Do” to connect buildings with human health. 
4. Recognition Event: 14 founding members of the Municipal Green Building Task Force (formerly Resource Efficient Building Task Force) were recognized for their foresight and contribution to the City of San Francisco’s green building practice and portfolio:

5. Discussion and Action:  The Task Force reviewed DRAFT Regulations pertaining to SF Environment Code Chapter 7: Sections 705 (applicable versions of LEED), 708 (Construction and Demolition Debris Management), 711 (Indoor Environmental Quality) and 713 (Waivers). The Task Force made a unanimous recommendation to the Commission on the Environment for approval.
