Preserve it.

Pickling, canning, fermenting, drying and jam making are techniques that have been used for centuries to preserve foods when you have an abundance of fresh produce.

  • Were your eyes bigger than your stomach when that flat of strawberries went on sale?  Try making strawberry jam.

  • Too many cucumbers, carrots, or cauliflower? Try making pickles!
