Twenty years ago, the San Francisco Commission on the Environment was created by the voters to provide direction to the San Francisco Department on the Environment and advise the Mayor and Board of Supervisors on San Francisco’s environmental plans and programming.
Since then, the San Francisco Commission on the Environment has been a stalwart of environmental activism maintaining their commitment to forward-thinking environmental policies for the City and County of San Francisco.
