The General Reporting Protocol (the GRP) provides guidance for businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to participate in the California Climate Action Registry (the California Registry), a voluntary greenhouse gas (GHG) registry.The California Climate Action Registry accepted its last emissions inventory reports and officially closed in December 2010.
