Meat and Fish Tray Waiver

This waiver allows the continued sale and distribution to consumers, until July 1, 2018, of raw or butchered meat or fish packaged in trays made with of polystyrene foam or other material that is not compostable or recyclable may be sold or distributed to consumers ONLY if the product was packaged outside San Francisco and is sold or distributed as prepackaged. This waiver does not apply where the packaging of any raw or butchered meat or fish in trays is done in San Francisco.
