Protecting workers through education on safer choices

Every year, six million people in the US are injured or become ill from work related causes, which include direct exposure to toxic substances. These include trainings for nurses about toxics in the health-care setting, dry-cleaning workers on safer dry-cleaning solvents, janitorial workers on green cleaning and nail salon workers on safer products and practices.
