Submit a Nomination

Each year SF Environment awards the school community for providing innovative solutions that support San Francisco’s climate protection goals.

This year the theme of the SF Environment School Awards is Youth Climate Justice. We want to recognize and celebrate the hard work being done--by youth, supporting adults, and school communities--to advance climate justice for all.

If you or someone you know is making significant strides toward advancing climate justice, zero waste, and sustainable schools, we want to hear from you!

The call for nominations closes at 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday February 21, 2020. You may submit nominations for an individual, a group, or yourself. One award will be given per category below. Awardees will be notified directly and will be publicly honored at the 2020 School Awards Ceremony at City Hall on April 29, 2020.
