To celebrate the Carnaval SF festival, students from San Francisco Mission District schools designed posters featuring this year’s theme, Viva la Madre Tierra. Carlos Balmore Ceron Sanchez from Mission High School won first place for his design while Brenda Mendoza from Fairmount Elementary School won the Elementary School category. You can view the winning posters at several stores in the Mission.
