SF Energy Watch Incentives for Lighting Controls Expired

The SF Energy Watch program, a partnership between the City of San Francisco and Pacific Gas and Electric Company, has been offering technical assistance and financial incentives to commercial customers and multifamily building owners in San Francisco since 2006.  Beginning on July 1, 2014 incentives for lighting controls are no longer available through SF Energy Watch due to Title 24 Building Code, a subset of the California Code of Regulations that sets the guidelines for building design, operation and efficiency throughout the state.

The following measures no longer qualify for incentives:

  • Occupancy Sensors
  • Photocell Controls
  • Bi-Level Lighting Controls
(Typically installed in garages and stairwells)
  • Time Clocks
