Compostable Bag Promotional Program

Recology in partnership with the San Francisco Department of the Environment and EcoSafe have approved a compostable bag promotional program to provide one compost bag dispenser and one case (1,300 bags) of certified compostable plastic bags at no cost to buildings or property managment companies for a 3-month promotional period. During this time, the building will receive zero waste training and education for tenants and staff.  At the end of the promotional period, the building will then be responsible for the on-going purchase of the compostable plastic bags.

For the purposes of this program, the length of the promotion shall be 3-months or the time it takes to consume a case of compostable plastic bags, whichever occurs first. Additional dispensers and cases of bags are available for purchase if the property would like multiple dispensers during the promotional program.
