San Francisco's Shared Mobility

Bike Share | Scooter Share | Shared Mopeds | Car Share

 
Shared mobility refers to bike share, car share, scooter share, and shared-use electric mopeds. These options are an exciting and sustainable way of getting around the City of San Francisco. The City works closely with the following permitted companies and provides strong guidance and clear requirements regarding key issues such as parking, distribution of devices, operational sustainability, community engagement, data sharing, and rider accountability. 
 
 

Bike Share

  • Members receive longer ride times, no unlock fees for regular bikes, and reduced, per-minute trip costs for e-bikes. Learn more about Bay Wheels pricing here
  • Bay Area residents who qualify for CalFresh, SFMTA Lifeline Pass, or PG&E CARE are eligible for Bike Share for All. Those without smartphones or credit cards also qualify. Learn more here

 

Scooter Share
