Bicycle Parking
Bicycling to work in San Francisco increased 68 percent between 2006 and 2010, and continues to increase. To meet the growing need, the San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency (SFMTA) and the Planning Department seek to provide safe and reliable bicycle parking, supported by Planning Code requirements for bicycle parking in new and renovated commercial buildings, as well as showers and clothes lockers (Planning Code Article 1.5 Section 155.2.)
