Color-coded bins and weekly service will be provided at no additional charge.
Remind your property manager or landlord that San Francisco's Mandatory Recycling and Composting Ordinance has been effective since October 2009. Tenants in apartments are entitled to blue bins for recyclables and green bins for compostables.
If your landlord declines your request for recycling and composting, you can anonymously report them.
Fill out the SF Zero Waste policies compliance form, and staff will contact the property or event to offer a friendly reminder about the City's zero waste requirements and resouces for compliance. You may choose to report anonymously. Your contact information will be confidential unless you indicate otherwise.
