Resolution commending Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz for his service on the San Francisco Commission on the Environment.
 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz was appointed by Mayor Edwin M. Lee on January 31, 2013 and served on the San Francisco Commission on the Environment until May 28, 2014; and,
 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz served on the Commission on the Environment’s Policy Committee from February 2013 to March 28, 2014; and
 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz has dedicated his service to the Commission on the Environment, and the Commission and the Department of the Environment would like to extend a commendation for his outstanding service and dedication; and
 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz provided unique insight and assistance on an array of important environmental initiatives and policy areas, including solar and renewable energy, electric vehicle infrastructure, public transportation, and strategic partnerships; and,
 

WHEREAS, The Commission on the Environment and the Department of the Environment are appreciative of the work that Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz performed; now therefore, be it,
 

RESOLVED, That the San Francisco Commission on the Environment and the Department of the Environment recognize the honorable Commissioner Nicholas Josefowitz’s contribution to protecting and advancing San Francisco’s environmental wellbeing, and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
