[Commendation for Urban Forestry Council Member Dan Sider]
 

Resolution commending Dan Sider for his service and dedication to the City and County of San Francisco’s Urban Forestry Council and for improving San Francisco’s urban forest.
WHEREAS, Dan Sider was appointed to the Urban Forestry Council by the Planning Department on December 3, 2010 as their department representative; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Sider has served the City and County of San Francisco as a member of the Urban Forestry Council from December 3, 2010 to June 27, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Sider served on the Planning and Funding Committee from January 20, 2011 to June 27, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Sider provided strategic insight for the Urban Forestry Council’s projects and goals during his tenure on the Council; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Sider was a steadfast champion for increasing tree protection requirements and tree-related Planning code amendments; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Sider contributed his comprehensive expertise and skill to the development of the Annual Urban Forest Reports, and;   
RESOLVED, The Urban Forestry Council extends its gratitude and commends Dan Sider for his dedication to the Urban Forestry Council; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, The Urban Forestry Council wishes Dan Sider well in his future endeavors.
I hereby certify that this Resolution was adopted at the Urban Forestry Council’s Regular Meeting on September 27, 2013.
