Resolution Commending Dan Kida

Resolution commending Dan Kida for his service and dedication to the Urban Forestry Council.

WHEREAS, Dan Kida was appointed by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to be their industry professional representative on the UFC first on June 4, 2013 and was subsequently reappointed on June 4, 2013; and,

WHEREAS, Dan Kida served on the landmark tree committee from May 2013 and continued until the end of his service on the UFC; and,

WHEREAS, Dan Kida served in a critical leadership role on the UFC as the Landmark Tree Committee Chair from July 9, 2016 until the end of his service on the UFC; and,

WHEREAS, Dan Kida provided invaluable expertise, conducting UFC matters with diplomacy and rigor; and,

WHEREAS, Dan Kida’s skillful guidance has made innumerable contributions to the work and impact of the Urban Forestry Council; therefore be it,

RESOLVED, The Urban Forestry Council extends its deepest gratitude to Dan Kida; and be it,

FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Urban Forestry Council commends Dan Kida for his dedication to the Urban Forestry Council and to improving San Francisco’s urban forest; and be it,

FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Urban Forestry Council Dan Kida well in all his future endeavors.  

I hereby certify that this Resolution was adopted at the Urban Forestry Council’s Regular Meeting on February 28, 2017.
